Ultimate Allies Presented by Ally
As Twitch's official financial services partner of /twitchgaming, Ally wanted to do something disruptive on Twitch to help spread the word about Ally. They wanted to "do it right" in gaming and be an ally to every gamer by rewarding, connecting with, and educating gamers in financial literacy authentically.
Twitch has an on-going competition series called Twitch Rivals and we decided to turn that idea on it's head and create a series for Ally called Ultimate Allies, where streamers formed alliances with each other to complete goals in the game Fall Guys. However, with the use of an interactive gaming Twitch extension called Crowd Control, the audience (chat) worked together to create a series challenges making the games harder for the streamers to complete. Ally rewarded chat based on their performance and gave away streaming/gaming peripherals, webcams, mics, stream decks, and Twitch Subs.
We worked with 6 different and diverse influencers over the course of 3 shows and reached over 200K views per stream. We put the fans directly in the center of the programming where each person's actions were critical in creating a series of shows where anything can happen. By unifying the fans to work together and directly get rewards, we created an environment that reflected Ally's central brief: We're all better off with an ally.
