Social Media Campaign
Seeking to humanize Intel Gaming's Instagram and tap into some lighthearted contemporary gaming culture, we crafted a 10-day "Duck Fight Club" tournament, featuring eight of numskull's gaming-themed rubber ducks from noteworthy titles. Using the polling feature, we pitted two ducks against each other and asked our audience to vote. Posts on Twitter and Instagram encouraged the community to interact and cheer, and every match was accompanied by animation created in-house at Damage that brought the absurdity, humor and pop culture relevance of the tournament to life.
The hugely successful campaign resulted in +473K impressions and a +29% lift in Instagram Story reach, and was quacked full of duck puns and pulled fighting styles, signature moves, and weapons from each duck's well-known game.
All of this came together to produce a campaign that both showed the knowledge and personality of Intel Gaming, wrapped up in a package that surprised and delighted the audience.
